Thursday, May 15, 2008 LONG TIME NO POST!!! =D i am starting to accustom myself to using =D and :D. haha! =) my rubik's cube went thru a complete makeover! and its partly my fault. cos i lost it on sunday and when i went back there around an hour later (i rushed out of my house once i reached home!) it was shattered into 35 pieces. YES, 35. and it was like all around the void deck, playground, shrubs, bushes, cemented floor and huge grass patches. i had to like go search all over. and it was already 5pm when i reached there. i searched till around 7, cos it was getting dark already. i only managed to recover 25 pieces. :'( 2 of the center pieces broke, and many of the cubelets' stickers were screwed. it was probably thrown frm the highest floor (12th floor, for goodness sake!). and a person on drugs was walking around then. i would not have been surprised if it was that guy who threw the cube down. damn sad lah. cos the cube was damn smooth. i thot i would never be able to return it to it's original state, but then i realised sth. i could merge both my cubes!!! =D so now, i have only one cube, and an assortment of cubelets. :D better than a very tight cube and some broken remnants. =) and surprisingly, the new merged cube is as smooth as the old one and it also makes nice rattling noises! :D and the yellow side of the cube is basically screwed, so i plucked them all out. and i left them black. other than that, two of my blue stickers, one green sticker and the white center fell out, and i pasted post-its on the black surface. budden it started to drop off after a while. i had to stick them back using UHU glue. :D my cube looks quite cool now! =D yay! =) i think there should be a mass lunch for all the shooters frm all the secondary schools during the june hols! =D nvm, i'm just speculating. i think we should get to noe more ppl frm other schools! i think comps for shooting are very unlike the chess comps. cos chess comps are like frm 8am-6pm, and there are many breaks in between. and we can make frens frm other schools and get to noe their scores before the organisers announce it. =) for shooting, there are no breaks, and u dunno ur own results till the results are out. so we cant really find an excuse for talking to ppl frm other schools. shall end here. =) till the next post! :D
